Làm "coders" cho công ty lớn nhiều người thì đúng là mình chỉ code, không có cơ hội/không quan tâm gì đến sản phẩm cuối cùng nhiều.
Nhưng với startups thì, theo Joel, là ngược lại:
"Ship the fucking thing! [...]You're not here to write code; you're here to SHIP PRODUCTS"
